Guest Etihad Silver Card:
The Guest Etihad Silver Card is available in two categories. The first category offers the member 25,000 miles and 20 flights, while the second category provides 20,000 miles and 15 flights. Cardholders enjoy an instant 25% airport discount on upgrades. They can also access the Al Reem Lounge at Abu Dhabi International Airport and the Seychelles International Airport Lounge for free. Silver Cardholders receive an additional 10kg of baggage weight in economy class and an extra 23kg for business and first class.
Guest Etihad Gold Card:
The Guest Etihad Gold Card includes 50,000 miles and 40 flights in the first category, and 40,000 miles and 30 flights in the second category. The earned miles are valid for one year. Gold Cardholders get an instant 50% airport discount on upgrades and free access for themselves and a guest to the Business Class Lounge. They also receive an additional 15kg of baggage weight for economy class and an extra 23kg for business and first class.
Guest Etihad Platinum Card:
The Guest Etihad Platinum Card offers 125,000 miles and 60 flights in the first category, and 48,000 miles and 100,000 flights in the second category. The earned miles are valid for one year. Platinum Cardholders enjoy an instant 50% airport discount on upgrades and complimentary access to the First Class Lounge for themselves and a guest at Abu Dhabi Airport, along with excellent lounges at international airports. They also receive an additional 20kg of baggage weight for economy class and an extra 23kg for business and first class.
Family Membership in Etihad Guest Program:
The Family Membership option allows multiple family members to accumulate points together, with a maximum of eight members. A family head, over 21 years old, manages the membership, and all correspondence related to the family’s membership goes to them. Any family member can participate, including parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. However, a family member cannot belong to another family’s Etihad Guest Program. Each family member receives an individual Guest Etihad Card.
Enrollment in Etihad Guest Program:
Joining the Etihad Guest Program is simple and can be done through the official program website. You need to provide personal information, such as your name, date of birth, contact details (phone number and email address), and create a password. Etihad Airways occasionally holds special events and promotions to attract new members. During such events, individuals may need to provide personal information for enrollment, and this information remains confidential according to the privacy policy.
Redeeming Etihad Guest Rewards:
Earned miles are valid for one year from the date of acquisition. They can be used to make purchases from a wide range of local and international stores and brands. However, the availability of places and rewards may change, so it’s essential to check the company’s updates for the latest redemption options. All Etihad Airways customers, except those with discounted tickets, are eligible for rewards. Gold and Platinum members of the Guest Etihad Program have access to all third-party lounges that are not operated by Etihad Airways across their partner airline network.
Etihad Airways allows another person to manage your account through a Power of Attorney. Miles can be donated to various charitable causes, such as the “Helping Them” initiative for supporting refugee children in Kenya in partnership with the UNHCR. Additionally, donations can be made to “ClimateCare,” a company that works on eco-friendly energy projects to reduce carbon emissions and combat global warming.
